Coolness: Ellen MacArthur (soon to become Dame Ellen) just broke the record for fastest solo sail around the world, coming in at just over 71 days. The previous record holder did it in 72 days (and he beat the previous record by a solid 20 days). I think that's awesome!

This cracked me up (I know this is an old e-mail forward and possibly an urban legend) -- the following ad appeared in the AJC:
