There's a mission going on that I am not working. Well, that's not entirely true. I am working the Entry. But that is another week and a half away. Until then, well, the office is a ghost town. Its creepy.
Its doubly creepy because morale is so low about the future of the manned space program. Really low. I am not sure if its a failure of vision or a failure of management. Its not normal for a budget with this drastic a shift to be rolled out without a real plan in place. And yet a week later, all we hear are platitudes about "bold" and "game changing". Seriously? We're engineers. That doesn't inspire us.
