Some people lead "lives of quiet desperation" and some people live truly extrordinary lives. I think this astronaut who flew into space last year and is climbing Mount Everest as we speak is definitely one of the latter. I think I am partially excited about this trip because some people I know are actually going to be at Base Camp with him.

Am I boring that I've never wanted to climb the world's highest mountain? I'd sure love to see it, and the rest of the Himalayas one day though...
