What makes you brilliant best girlfriend from college pull her head out of the books and stop working on her sure-to-be groundbreaking dissertation that will change air traffic control as we know it and call to "chat" for the first time in months?
Mention you are going to Mexico with some guy you met on match.com.
That makes for good conversation.
Some things never change, though. Her schedule runs like the Swiss train system. At exactly 10 p.m. EDT, she said "Well, it was nice talking to you but its time to go to bed." To have my body trained to such a perfect sleep schedule... it will never happen. I felt like her fiancee Brian who received the same treatment every single night for all the years I lived with her.
This is why I could never be a medical doctor. Just wait until I have children. I'm afraid I'll be one of those mothers who goes berzerk from sleep deprivation.

Yeah, Karen...crazy from sleep deprivation -- and even more crazy when you can't get your 2-year-old to follow an exact schedule. ;)

Oh, man. Something tells me Karen will subscribe to the feeding schedule version of parenting.
"Baby's crying"
"It's only 2:45 AM. He doesn't get fed until 3:00 AM. "
:)
