I like to talk a lot. I talk on my cell phone all the time. Recently, they changed the rules and are letting us bring cell phones in all the buildings we work in. Whoo hoo. Then, they changed the rules and said we are no longer allowed to use cell phones while driving on site. That's completely absurd. I hope that there is massive civil disobedience and everyone disobeys this rule. Of course, they won't. We're all good soldiers here, even if we aren't actually soldiers. People like to think they are. Thus the strange number of marine-style buzz cuts worn by the lifelong civilians I work with.
Well, that was a side track. What a diversion.
I've had a weird week at work. My schedlue hasn't been regular at all. Its not going to return to normal at least for the next month. I have so.many.sims.
Oh, and my smarter-than-me friend Maayan who works to make robots think is moving to Israel for her first job. So excited to have one more friend in an exotic location to visit. Must save some more vacation time.
They are busy banning driving on a cell phone without hands-free in all of Washington state. Of course, you're still allowed to dial!

It takes less than 3 minutes to drive offsite. You can wait that long after work before calling someone...
That said, I agree it's a weird rule.
