One more awesome use of Google Maps: Space Shuttle / Space Station tracking.
Of course, this isn't a new thing available over the Internet. NASA also has a real time tracking page.
And someone has cataloged the known locations of scrapped (on display, etc.) SR-71 Blackbirds, one of the coolest aircraft ever. For some of them, if you switch to satellite photo, and zoom all the way in, you can see its distinctive outline. Check out the one at Marshall Spaceflight Center - next to it you see the vertically stacked Saturn V and other cool stuff in its rocket park!
